Mark Laudi is a media and communications mentor with 24 years of expertise in the media industry, including mission-critical B2B communications, crisis communications, public speaking and presentation skills. Besides mentoring business and political leaders worldwide in media skills, public speaking, and conference presentations, Mark is a much-sought-after speaker, conference anchor, and panel moderator at business events. Multiple requests from senior executives for Mark to conduct media mentoring engagements, prove a recognition of Mark’s in-depth research skills and the ability to link business outcomes with appropriate presentation techniques. Mark strongly believes in experiential learning, having survived the economic disaster brought about by the global financial crisis, earning success as a result, and gladly sharing this journey with entrepreneurs and SMEs. Prior to Mark’s current role as the CEO of Hong Bao Media, he has held almost every position in the newsroom of CNBC Asia Pacific: Stock Reporter, Anchor, Field Reporter, Producer, Editor. At the age of 28, he launched CNBC Australia in Sydney as bureau chief. Mark started his career in media at the age of 21 as Australia’s youngest radio current affairs show host at ABC radio. Continuing his career in the radio media industry in Singapore, he was a member of the inaugural and presentation team of English language talk radio station 938 LIVE. At present, Mark conducts master classes in media and presentation skills as well as crisis communications workshops for senior executives at a large number of multinationals in Asia, the Middle East and Europe. These master classes cover industry verticals from financial services, technology, logistics to pharmaceuticals. Mark also possesses expertise in investor relations and investor education. He invests in online startups that cater to the needs of SMEs. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Politics from Curtin University of Technology.
